2015 Fleet Shakedown

The first sail of 2015, and our first departing from F.L. Tripp & Sons, was well attended despite a daunting forecast which came to include winds gusting up to 45mph.

Rendezvous for first night’s camp. Late arrivals Dana and Shana on Spica would make it out to us in the dark.

Highlights include a morning game of four square with a patient Hoku’s tennis ball on a little tidal flat, and the first flying of the Marsh & Bay burgee.

Happily the worst of the weather came through at night and our anchors and tents held well.

folks who brought a tent and slept on land got a bit wet

but wanted to get wetter

aft — was it really this dark?
